Along with him and Williams steering Rocky McIntosh our way, and Casillas returning from injury it looks like our OLB's will be much improved. We will probably be able to get pressure on QB's now from this position, and defend RB's in the flat.

why is he listed as an ILB?

played it in college but he's athletic as mentioned here and scheme diverse. i figured he'd be a mid 2nd round guy. it's a really good pickup on paper. there were really no good OLB prospects in this class that weren't 3-4.

his best asset is blitzing ability. he's like a missile coming off the edge...

teach him how to cover and read screens and we have a starter who can attack the offense

he's the starting SLB, unless Shanlee goes on the cheap he might looking elsewhere

At one time we even discussed him as the 1st Rd choice. Never thought he would last to 56 muchless 72

A++ value/need

I'm not saying he replaces Fujita, but Wilson has that tall, heavy linebacker build like Fujita. It gives Gregg the ability to play him in that Elephant position, moving around in the backfield in the 3-4.

How is his neck? He missed the entire 2009 season with a neck injury. Please tell me he's 100% with 0 residual effects.
