When was the last time a Saints rookie had a multiple sack game? I assume it's been a while

Davenport keeps this up and Saints might have another DROTY winner

I’m surprised no ones talking about Rankins’ game. He had two very impressive and quick sacks

That strip sack he had last night that was reversed was BS. Play should’ve stood. On relay the ball was clearly starting to move before knee was down. Dude is a beast

His presence on passing downs made a huge difference. That Vikings O line was falling apart trying to block him, Jordan, and Rankins

Davenport needs to be unleashed. I don’t like that we gave up 2 picks for him, but I bet I would if he were on the field more

Ever since we drafted Davenport the taliban has been destroying the Afghani army. This isn’t just a Saints thing, or coincidence, this has caused a global crisis.

They should change the rule. If a defender has his hand on the ball, the possessing player should have to fight to keep it, even if he would otherwise be down by contact. So in the Cousins situation last night, Davenport has his hand on the ball before Cousins’ knee is down. Then Cousins would be required to fight to keep the ball. Right now the ground provides safety for the offense in strip situations, and that’s stupid. Tackling is tougher now, and defenses can’t score big hits to force fumbles, so give defenses extra opportunity to cause turnovers by stripping the ball

no. It wasn’t even close. Some people really do see what they want to see.

No. The only rules that should change is defensive pass interference no longer a spot foul. Offensive pass interference should have a loss of down with it because chances are if the offensive player interfered, then there was a higher probability of an interception. The D isn’t getting that back. The offense should lose a down.

He’s coming on at just the right time as we head down the stretch. Hopefully he will get more time and have even more impact.

His presence up front and Apples in the back - could make this a top 10 defense in the second half.

He looked unstoppable at times last night. Hard to believe Okafor is getting so much more PT than him

Loved the pick at the time. Didnt see it coming either.

Been widly impressed with his play this year and its only his first year.

Im liking how they have been easing him into the rotation. But I would like to see more snaps.

the ball moved but it didn't move with regards to the qb's control of ball. if that makes sense.

On the final play, Diggs was trying to lateral the ball but lost it on the ground and Davenport fell on it.

Davenport should get credit for a fumble recovery stat, right?

That's what happens when you forget to double team him. I watched him a lot last night. He doesn't get media pop but opposing coaches know about him. He constantly has two helmets on him.

Now that Davenport is emerging this can get fun quick you can't double team everybody
