Could be as simple as conditioning. He could be ready to play today but not at 100%

Landry has an offer from the saints. He is trying to get more.

Hope they can come to an agreement. I thought he was redundant with a healthy Thomas but I don’t think we’re going to get that.

Juice is basically the same player but more durable and less of a diva.

I don’t think Jarvis is that good. He’s a complimentary receiver IMO.

Landry is not and has never been as good as MT.

Wrong. Landry has better career stats with a hodgepodge of QBs including Jay Cutler while Thomas had Brees.

Thomas: 510/5950/32
Landry: 688/7598/37

They’re both thousand yard guys but one is on the field a lot more

Landry is a 1,000 yard guy. Thomas is a 1,500 yard guy.

Cant Guard Mike (because he is literally never on the field)

The guy never really missed a game until that fluke injury.

He probably came back to early to try and win with brees.

When he is on the field he has always given 100%.
I just don't get the "he is never available."

Kind of why I wasn't against taking 2 WRs somewhat early in this draft.

It’s exactly why I said we should have grabbed Pickens or Sky in the 2nd, which was where the value was.

Even made a thread where 70-80% of the top wideouts the last two years were taken outside of the first round. Of course I was downvoted to hell.

Hurdles to climb could mean anything. He could mean getting reacquainted with the offense. I’ve seen plenty of videos of Thomas working so I think he will be good to go at the start of the season.

If he ever clears a hurdle on the practice field we are making HUGE STRIDES

It concerns me that as soon as Olave was drafted MT raced to get together with him to "Work-Out"

The optimist in me wants to believe MT will be reenergized and excited to have another weapon on offense, however the I can't shake the feeling that them getting together wasn't about training as much as it was about "Let me bring this young guy up" the way I want (Or need) for him to be.

i.e. hey young buck, when I shite on the organization you gotta have my back and vise versa, that's how it's done in the pros. That's how we get what we want.

Now hopefully what has been said about Olave is true and he is a humble lunch-pail bust arse worker who's going to give everything he has to the team and there is no I in his game. The Saints need that from their leaders.

Is there where we start manufacturing MT drama that doesn't exist again?

If you are "climbing hurdles" there's a significant problem.
