Philly, Can We Still Be Friends?

quote:

It’s funny how things work out, though. Because when I think of legacy, my time with Philly is where I came into my own — but make no mistake about it, I was built in New Orleans. NOLA is where I learned how to be a leader. I watched and emulated captains like Jon Vilma and Drew Brees. I saw what it took to bring Saints fans their first and only Super Bowl title, back in 2009. I was trained not just on how to achieve success, but on how to maintain it — game after game, and season after season. I discovered the difference between good coaches and great teachers. I learned how to carry a burden on the field that wasn’t just my own.

quote:

For real, everything you saw me do in Philly? It was the fruit of a tree that was planted in New Orleans. And I cannot wait to give Who Dat nation the benefits of a player they helped create.

quote:

I’m getting chills as I write this, thinking about being back in the Superdome: rocking those all-black uniforms and running out of the tunnel. These next few years, they’re what I consider to be my “Last Laps” on this journey. And everyone who’s ever run a race before….. they know what you do on those last laps: You put it all on the line.

You go hard.

That's why Jenkins > Bell.

We need an alpha dog back there.

Now we have one.

TBH wasn't jumping up and down when we signed him but realizing his steady leadership was needed in a very young secondary made me reconsider.

It seems he became a leader here and a player there

Glad to have him back

Would have at least 1 other Super Bowl if we didn't let him go

It's rare that I give 2 cents what an anthlete has to say about anything, but damn, that was outstanding

So the only humans that have “character” are those who take the same position on political and social issues as you do. Got it.

Go back to the poli board.

Malcolm Jenkins seems to be of high character. Are you confusing character with politics?

Yes he is. He’s a blind loyal Trump cuck and doesn’t think for himself

Jenkins is a widely respected member around the league and considered by almost everyone a great leader.

Who gives a fug after all the heartbreak Saints fans have been through. I'd be fine with the Black Panthers on offense and KKK on defense so long as the Saints win the title. Bitch about it at the parade

Odds of this board having a turn of face once 27 gets a late game INT?

How they stack up relative to others positions doesn’t matter, they stand as the positions of someone with no character on their own.
