Thomas does talk a lot after, I've seen it a lot this year.
Corners talk shite (Norman, Sherman), wide receivers can too (brown, mike)
The extra stuff if it's true I can't support (hitting them in the leg, unnecessary stuff after the whistle, etc)

Also Thomas talks shite because corners are always up in his face trying to talk shite. If he's punking them the way he has this year he's earned that right to rip into those soft mother frickers.

Agreed. I don’t mind him talking shite but the sly hitting stuff will end up costing us once refs start looking for it. I like his edge and what it brings. This is also the first I’ve heard of anything like this from him.

I saw one of them try to push him down after a catch as he was walking back to the huddle. They were no innocents.

Again, go back to the first game of the year against Minny and look at what they were doing to us.

Michael Thomas lines up to take your manhood.
Lots of cornerbacks try the psychological stuff to get inside a receiver's head. Thomas sets the tone. Loved seeing him fluster Xavier Rhodes last year in Minnesota. Rhodes was throwing his helmet having coaches trying to calm him down.
Personally, I love what #13 brings to this team.

Payton said after the game that Thomas can be really emotional, really cares about the game. I don’t mind him doing it to get into their heads, I just don’t want it to cost us in the future.
I also vividly remember Thomas laying out Sendejo one play last year and being really really physical with Xavier Rhodes, but that went both ways. Rhodes was really physical, pressing Thomas and he fought back and the refs let them go at it

Like I said, go back and watch the first Minny game. There's a reason he went hard at Rhodes in the playoffs. There's a reason he went hard at the Skins tonight.
I think there was another team last year too that kept taking cheap shots at him all game but can't recall who (or if we play them this year).
I didn't hear Trufant bitching after the Falcons game. Just saying.

Maybe it was the Rams? I just remember one game it was such an obvious cheap shot and a ref was right there and did nothing. It was during a running play and the play was over and someone blasted him from the side.
Look these DBs can talk shite and whine all they want. They do dirty shite all game long on run plays no one ever sees.
