Looking at all these great young QBs...

Makes me nervous for when Brees retires. I really don’t know if Teddy is the answer. Taysom i don’t think is a full time starter. We will still have all of our core talent, and we just need someone to be able to get it out to them. If Teddy were the starter for this year’s team, i think they go 9-7. Is that good enough? Maybe we can get Russell Wilson in free agency. He’s already pretty good, just think what Sean could do with him.

Every time I see Russel Wilson in action, I come away with the overwhelming feeling that he is VASTLY overrated. I'm not saying he is a bad QB, but he is overrated IMHO.

He really doesn’t have any weapons or a good pass protecting Oline. He is always running for his life when he tries to throw. And he still has a 23/5 TD/INT ratio

Teddy is an immensely better fit for this offense than Wilson.

What has he done to make you think that?

Teddy is a highly accurate, drink and dunk type passer. He's probably closer to Drew in terms of his overall makeup than most qbs in the league.
Wilson is better creating outside of the pocket. SP would definitely cook up cool schemes around Wilson, I just see Teddy as a more seamless transition to what we are already doing.

I can see a few bad years once Drew is gone and I'm fine with that. Right now its all in for the time he has left.

Go all in on Tua in 2020 draft. Tua and Payton would be more of the same ridiculous offense we have now. I think he is very similar to Brees.

The Saints could do a whole lot worse than Teddy Bridgewater in the post-Brees era.

Just wait till the teams have to pay these young QBs. Their efficiency will go way down. A QB on a rookie contract with talent all around him is very misleading.

I absolutely love Teddy as our QB of the future. He will excel with this talent and scheme. We won’t score on 60+% of our possessions like this year but Teddy could win us a Super Bowl.

Yes....he’s a much better WB than most think.
Sean would do just fine with him.
Certainly a good fill in till we get our next Drew.

Teddy is not going to be resigned next year....He will get an offer from another team where he at least has the chance to start.
People act like we got Teddy on a 4 year deal.

Stop worrying about our future and enjoy what you are watching now.

The future will soon be the now, so i am concerned about it. This year will be over in 4 months then it’s time to move on

So you know for a fact Brees is not coming back? Either way we don't have a first round pick. Just enjoy what Drew Brees is doing and we most probably have this year and maybe next year to win a championship which is more important than a future QB. Live in the moment.
