Vikings fans have been salty af since 2009.

Particularly toward the Saints. There's a guy from Minny in our home brew club and a few years ago I overheard him tell someone that "The tears of Saints fans sustains me."

I’m working up in North Dakota now and am hearing about how we cheated back in 09 to beat them.

The funniest thing about their obsessive hatred of the Saints is that we don’t care about the Vikings at all. They are nothing more than a footnote in Saints history, the team the Saints beat to get to their first Super Bowl.

Can anyone get a list or number of current players that were even on that team?

Only five players remain from the 2009 NFC Championship Game. Vikings defensive end Brian Robison and Saints tackle Zach Strief, punter Thomas Morstead and quarterbacks Drew Brees and Chase Daniel were there for Minnesota’s 31-28 overtime loss. The game was later pinpointed by the original whistleblower of the Saints’ bounty scandal, in which bonuses allegedly were paid for injuring opponents such as Vikings quarterback Brett Favre.

That criminal Sean Payton called the for hit on Kurt Warner in the divisional playoff game against the cardinals the week before they played us in 2009. Warner hands the ball off gets hit and body slammed by one of the Saints...the refs call it...but warners collar bone and ribs were broken cause the hit should have never happened.
Greg Williams laughed about both games on the radio after that gloating that he ended the careers of both warner and favre....which he basically did.  Warner never played another game...suffering his worst injuries of his career from the hit

Now they just making shite up.

Wasn't he PS at the time? May be why I forgot him. I know Brunell was the backup.

Forgot about this guy. The one lone Viking left to get revenge. Ha.

This blows my mind. People from Minnesota are usually the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Um, I lived there for quite a while. Some are nice but many are real cretins.

I'm still smarting over that spanking the Vikings put on Bobby Hebert and crew in 1987 playoffs. We still owe them another whipping.
