Does anyone ever look at Brady’s stat line from that year vs Brees?

Brees was 27tds 4ints and led the league in completion percentage all while missing 5 games.

Brady was 24tds 8ints in a full 16.

I know who I would have rather had after 2019.

It seems easy in hindsight, but it wasn’t. Brady also wouldn’t have had the weapons he did in Tampa.

it's almost like their complaints about Brees are about something other than football! It's the same few mouthbreathers every time with their woulda coulda shoulda bullshite.

I agree, he fricked us completely on the way out. I am still grateful for all the good years and the Super Bowl. But he sure as hell put the screws to us in the end.

He was mature and brought his team together. Took them to the playoffs again. Shitting on his teammates and demanding a trade over personal feelings would have been the definition of selfish.

Let's have a quick show of hands to all of you hard working valuable employees that have happily agreed to a salary or wage cut or willingly accepted a proposal to defer a bonus all because your employer may or may not have kept their end of the agreement by being fiduciarily responsible. This is the real world not Marvel Comics or Video Game World. Brady is married to someone who is twice as wealthy as he is. Go down with a career ending injury see how fast the team runs. It's every man for himself unfortunately. Welcome to reality.

I’ll always be thankful for Brees but it’s a fact that his ego caused the Saints to miss out on Brady.

Payton should have made the tough choice.

how in the frick is it Brees fault if it's Payton's choice?

This entire narrative is beyond stupid.

Tom is like a year or two older than Drew. Not to mention Drew was a very serviceable qb in his last year, better than a healthy James.

Nobody expected Tom to be as elite as he's been these last 2 years.

Completely made up bountygate schedule wasted a few years

If you want to irrationally blame someone, then blame Roman Harper.

Because if Roman Harper simply tackles Vernon Davis, Saints win that game and then the Giants have to come to the Dome. Saints win the Super Bowl and bountygate doesn’t happen. There’s zero chance Rog is dunking on the marketability of the reining Super Bowl champs for some self serving bullshite.
