The D line and LBs look better every week.

Morstead still goat

So we got that going for us, which is nice.

Defense kept us in it. That's about all I got.

I keep thinking about that Morstead punt that (no fault of his own) cost of from getting the Cowgirls 1st down from the 1 inch line instead of the 20 because the Saints player was touching the endzone when it occurred

The DLine was solid

LB pursuit was great.

Will Lutz was great.

Cam Jordan passed Will Smith on the career sack list.

Saints fans traveled well.

The game showed up really well on Amazon Fire TV.

I had a good bottle of red wine.

which is why Sean should've taken the automatic FG in the first half when it would have been less distance than an extra point

No more Thursday games, especially on the road. The last time the offense looked so shitty was in ATL last year on a Thursday. Sloppy officiating makes for a sloppy game, same thing took place in that one.

that didn't bother me this week since both teams had a whole week of practice from their last game

The offense was a shite show against Cleveland this year as well...

If the Saints would have had a challenge we could have Challanged Beasley's knee being down. He was down and therefore the Cowboys would have had to punt

True, but the offense wasn't doing shite, even if that spotted us the ball on the red zone 10 yd line.

I was hoping this as well but football players are creatures of habit and Thursday nights throughout the season have typically been for winding down from the weeks 2nd practice. Brees loves his routines and this is probably the first time as a pro that he ever played back to back thursdays or 4 times in 18 days.

true, but we shouldn't have had to challenge that to begin with if the refs were doing their jobs correctly

Well that would have been great. All we needed was a FG to tie

Defense played outstanding. It's unfortunate because that will be overshadowed by the loss. Yet another elite RB held to less than 100yds.

Dline is very good! Demario Davis is the saints version of Debo Jones, he flies to the ball and abuses pulling lineman. On that TD run by Zek it seemed like he overpursued but he played the assignment by containing the runner and taking on the leading blocker to free up a DB to make the tackle but they were blocked/out of position.

Apple responded well last night in the second half to the like of the entire defense; however, both PJ Williams and M Williams take really shitty angles in tackle pursuit. Seems to be a come theme with both of these young players.

Von Bell is a dog head-busting safety afraid of no man. He’s really playing well right now.

Another positive is that the Saints offense have good film on how better to deal with the Cowboys' kind of Defense and how to deal with defenses who focus on sending pressure to the QB through the "A" gaps.

Quick pressure on #9 through the "A" gaps is the way to stop the Saints offense.

The Saints DL is full of killers

And Davenport is still playing his way back. When he’s 100%, we might have the best DL in football

The defense held our opponent to 13 points. Can’t do much better than that

Offense got reminded that’s they have to do more than just up at the stadium?
