Not discounting Lattimore. Top CB in league when healthy. We need O line help after injuries. It appears we have a strong DB room.
Why wouldn't we trade Latt for an O-lineman? It could possibly lhelp us with the salary cap as well. Like former Pats Coach Belichick said. Trade them before decline.

Idk, man. Right now you know that the defense can keep you in any game. Trade Lattimore and take a gamble on a player that may or may not work out, and you could have more problems than you started with.

A crappy O-line due to injuries is going to be way worse than not having Lattimore.

What will it cost you this year to trade him? Can you afford it?

What will it cost you next year if you trade him? Can you afford that?

We are not getting anything for him. He is a older player with a big contract.

You'd save about $1M from this year's cap. Looks like 2025 cap would go from $31.4M to $31.6M. Roll that $1M over to next year and you save $800k against a cap you are about $80M over

No one is trading away a starting caliber olineman at this point in the season without absolutely crushing the trade value.

We also have to pay adebo, Kamara, Rasheed.

Lattimore ain't on the field as much as you would like.

There is other factors than what the return would be.

Saw a Vikings fan podcast and they brought up trading for Lattimore. He said he’s no longer a top 5 corner but still in the 10-12 range. He said he would trade for him but he’s not giving up a 3rd or 4th. He was thinking a 6th rounder possibley 5th. Main reason is he’s hurt alot and is owed a ton of money next year….

Just another fans perspective. I always thought it was funny people that believed we’d get a first or even a second for him in the offseason.

For that value, you just hang on to him.

I understand. It just kills me as a fan to see our players leave with nothing in return. Because of Cap issues.

Why tf was he in the slot on that 3rd and 16?

This man almost never played slot. And yes we need to find value for him and get him gone now.

Idk, some of the stupid things I see posted on here.

I agree with most of what he said, I think we wanted at least a 3rd for him and didn’t get it. It’s why he still wearing a Saints uniform.

No way I’m giving him away for a 5th or 6th.
