After hearing Ken has had a good camp and seeing him play. Do you feel confident with him playing opposite Marshon? I hate to say it, but I do. Defense looks ready to make a playoff run.

I really liked what Adebo did in game 1 and he has a ton of upside so I think I'd rather throw him to the wolves.

Glad to have a few capable looking number 2’s. Most offenses go 3-5 wides a majority of the game these days. They are likely both going to play a lot.

Crawley and Adebo have both played well so far. The key to their success (and the whole secondary) will be the DL getting consistent pressure on the QB while Lattimore and CGJ lock up the #1 and slot options.

I think they will be just fine, I’m more concerned with who we have behind those guys. Who else makes the roster as injuries start happening (Poole was limping around last night). Grant Haley? Gotta be somebody else out there in the FA or post-cuts pool we look to bring in I would think

I saw him turn his head around twice today, and also noticed he didn't appear to be as handsy from what I could see, so that's very encouraging. I hope it translates, but we all know there is a big difference between a preseason game against a rookie QB on a team that isn't very good and the regular season week 1 against Aaron Rodgers. I hope Crawley can keep it up, and he's got the ability because being in position was never his problem but rather he always either never turned around to locate the ball or would hold onto the WR and draw the flag

Think about it.

Crawley was basically thrown in as a starter after being an udfa from Colorado.

I always liked him as a player. He has matured. I don't know if you want him as your #2 corner but he deserves to be on a team.

I am just getting ready for 1-2 bad penalties from Crawley every game.

Confident..no. Ken Crawley's coverage has always been good. He stays in his man's hip pocket for the most part. Problem is the high number of penalties he commits once the ball is in the air.

The problem is, and always has been, asking Crawley to do things he cannot do. He is a press corner. Let him do that. Anything other than that and you are going to see problems. Play him in off man, you are gonna have a problem. Give him a zone assignment, you are going to have a problem. Press man, only.

Give him safety help over the top and let him press at the line.

Yep. It really is that simple. He's skinny (zero fat) & he can run with almost anyone.

Allen didn't understand this a few years ago.

Yep. I think he's a legit backup outside CB if used correctly.

His ceiling is & always was a legit #2, but that doesn't mean he's going to reach it again...like he did in 2017.

He was a great #2 CB that year.

Just think about what you said. It’s Ken Crawley. You can put makeup on a pig but in the end it’s still a pig. Hoping Adebo ends up being one of the steaks of the draft but our secondary will be as good as our DL is at getting to the QB.
