Wow 11 more guaranteed. He will definitely be a good leader and work his arse off for the team now. I'm surprised we gave him that much guaranteed but it makes sense. Keep your best defender happy please.

Meh. Not happy about this. Whines like a baby and gets more money. Shoulda told him tough luck. Not like he would ever hold out into the season anyway.

I see nothing wrong with paying an underpaid player and giving him more guaranteed money to keep the locker room happy.

I am one of the first to say that we went about it wrong, but I'm sure before any new guaranteed money was discussed, that his social media outburst was the first topic between him and Payton/Loomis. I have no problem with guaranteeing him more money, as he's starting to look more and more underpaid with each CB contract that is being signed.

This was more the issue IMO. He came here on a cheap deal considering the CB market and just wanted to be ensured a job. He didn't even ask for more he just wanted what he did have to be guaranteed if I'm understanding correctly.

Very happy to see this happen to Lewis. I was not a fan of the instagram post he did but the man was underpaid and one of our best players. Congrats!
