Without that 1st next year, they’ll give him one more shot to win with Winston since we really don’t have any other options. Not gonna win a lot of games over the next 18 months

It's a combination of several things....1. Winston/Dalton are obviously NOT the answer 2. Was Allen really a good choice or merely a convenient one ? 3. Seems we are now an AGING team with too many bloated salaries/untradeable and oft injured 'stars' 4. Maybe, just maybe the front office has been in 'place' just a little too long...time for a major shake-up !

Worst part of all this is the 2023 1st round pick he mortgaged. Thinking he was gonna win now lol. This will likely become a top 5 pick which could have been used to possibly get a QB. On top of that he also sent a 2024 2nd round that will also be high. Unless we can get something for Payton it's gonna be rough.

He is what his record says he is. Good DC but not cut out to be a coach. Sucks to say but the Golden Era of Saints Football is over. Time to blow this up and rebuild. Yes, we have enough to talent to be competitive but as is you will not win anything or compete for Championships. Brees and Payton aint coming back. Time to let go and Blow it Up!
