Just a friendly reminder to all beloved Saints fans

Taysom Hill is going to be your opening day starter. Always was the case. Still will be the case. There's going to be such a large hatred against Taysom from the get go by fans who are trying to reconcile their own stupid opinions previously formed out of ignorance.

Winston will probably start with Hill coming in for his special packages. He will likely also continue to be used as a skill guy considering the Saints lack of talent there outside a few guys.

I've hated Winston since he put that greasy finger in Lattimore's face, just before Evans through his cheap shot. Big Saints fan, but finding it hard to get onboard with JW.

So maybe it is Hill. Maybe Payton knows that he does not want Jameis as his full time QB. If JW has a decent type year and makes the playoffs even at 10-7 the call would be to offer him a new 3-4 year deal.
So you play Taysom and see what happens...Taysom shows he can start which makes Sean look like a genius or he fails and the Saints get a high pick.

the way people ignore their eyes and claim winston will be a great QB is just commical and pathetic
taysom needs a lot more game experience but by game 5 or 6 i think he will be where he needs to be
that said, we still only win 5-6 games this year because there are just too many holes and below average players everywhere on this team

It's Taysom. It always was - you are correct. How one could watch a presser with Payton talking about Taysom and not get a hint of his admiration for Taysom and the player he is is beyond me. Instead, the Jameis stans latched on to some weird lip reading of Brees telling Winston "this is your team now." 
Jameis is trash can material who has shown zero progress as a player and decision maker since entering the league. They'll get over Taysom as the starter the second he runs in his first TD from 50 yards out.

Jameis deserves to play for the team-friendly deal he gave us. he could have made a LOT of money elsewhere starting
