Pass.

Do whatever it takes to lesson the cap hell / dead money situation and get as many draft picks over the next 2-3 years as possible.

No coach worth a crap want this job in the condition this team is in. Any one who does want it will be run out of town in 2-3 years anyway when the Saints are league bottom feeders in that span.

Syop lying to yourself, the Saints are not fixing this teams problems with a coaching hire.

I’d rather stick with Dennis Allen if these are the options

The nfl can flip in a season. This team would be much better with capable coaching. To completely absolve Allen is dumb imo

Harbaugh: 44-19-1
Reich: 40-33-1
Allen: 11-33

Great take

You honestly think either one of those 2 would do better with the shite we have on our roster?

Yes. This was considered a good nfl roster entering the season.

I was the only one saying in the off-season threads we should have went with Harbaugh.

I’ll repeat again. We hired a coach that will have 4 losing seasons in 4 years, when we could had one that has more nfc championship and Super Bowl appearances than Payton in less time…..

You don’t have 4 losing years in a row by accident, likewise, you don’t have 4 years and don’t have one losing record by accident…..

The team has bad players, period. It isnt a coaching problem. The offensive line is a sieve made up of backups. Outside of Kamara there are no offensive playmakers. No one is ever open. QB is not accurate and has zero chemistry with his WRs it appears. Defensively they are not executing. Lots of missed tackles and poor coverages. Not enough pressure on the QB. This is all individual player athletic performance, not coaching.

Very true. Super Bowl favorites of some. I thought it was (on paper) one of the most talented team’s we’ve had. Really!

We were all wrong.

Pass on Harbaugh or Reich.

I keep seeing this like this roster is barren of talent. As ridiculous as it may be looking at it now, this team was given SB hype for a reason. There is still a ton of talent across the board. The coaching is just god awful.

To act like they couldn’t upgrade coaching is idiotic.

Yeah, he's been great at finding/grooming a franchise QB. I'm sure he can fix our issues there

Reich had a winning season like 3 out of his past 4 seasons. And that was with Luck screwing them out of nowhere. He's an actual winner.

He was also the OC of the Eagles who won the Super Bowl. He is a tremendous coach. It's crazy to just dismiss him. He's made several QBs look good. I like the idea of an offensive minded HC that is a QB guru.

And to the person who said nobody would come here. Of course he would come here to be the head coach.

Again, he's won without one. Luck up and left them unexpectedly. And they patched it together to have winning seasons. Imagine if he did he have one. Do these franchise QBs grow on trees?

Harbaugh went to a super bowl with Crapernick. That in and of itself is quit an accomplishment. Also go to a championship games with Alex smith. So he has won with different quarterbacks…
