Pelicans potential luxury tax team has her looking to save money in other places? I don't know, the whole situation is just weird.

I used to think we were one of the best run organizations in the league years ago....its become a shell of its former self

I think it's just arrogance and defiance at this point. Like with the cap stuff. The Saints are going to run in their own idiosyncratic way and one day you'll see the brilliance. If not, they'll make excuses (like the "players are the problem" one they keep leaking).

Once Loomis, et al show any cracks, they open themselves up to a LOT of potential questions/criticism

It’s clear Payton was what made this organization work. With him gone there’s a leadership vacuum no one else can fill. Years of brain drain happens as your best assistants and front office people leave. The new leadership isn’t competent enough to replace them. This is how organizations die. Saints are dying slowly and Loomis is too arrogant to realize he wasn’t instrumental to the success of the past. He needs a new Payton. Good luck….

Carr padded those stats in the final four weeks of the season.

Somebody posted it online, but since his shouting match with McCoy he put up some of the best numbers for a qb in the league.

Cleveland Browns middle of the night. If the Saints tried this our fans would take the trucks and sell all the stuff on Craigslist

Yeah that makes me think everyone is gone and Gruden is coming in and is going to fill the offensive staff himself

If firing 2 assistants and 1 staffer qualifies as a big day than we need to re define that word!

Other franchises are making major chess moves and we are piddling around with marbles!

Yesterday: "Waaaaaaa!!!!! They haven't fired PC. Waaaaaaaaa!"

Today: "Waaaaaaa!!!! They think firing PC means anything? Waaaaaaaa!"

If they fired Allen, you'd cry about Loomis. If they fired Loomis, you'd cry about Lauscha. If they fired Lauscha, you'd cry about Gayle. If she sold the team, you'd still cry.

People wonder why teams don't care about fans. Because fans are unpleasable so why bother.

Take this for what it is: a win. A small win. But a win nonetheless.
