Carr padded those stats in the final four weeks of the season.

Got some examples. 6 of the saints' 8 losses were by 1 score

Our offense was not horrible this season. 14th in total offense and 9th in scoring offense. What do you base him being terrible on?

I never assumed anything. It’s just funny to me how people like yourself think you know certain things that you would only understand if you were in the facility day in, day out…

You want him to be an offensive assistant? Ok fine, what does an offensive assistant do and what qualifies him for that role? Will he be okay with a demotion while staying on staff?? Who are you gonna put at OC?

All I’m saying is that this website loves to say random shite like that without ever really knowing what they’re talking about. I see it on the coaching changes board constantly

don't want him as our OC, but I don't think he sucks at all as an offensive assistant

Makes great coffee, his “x” and “o” are perfect every time, and draws awesome straight lines???

Just received a 2 or 3 year extension a few months ago

release of MT

As I understand it, no need to announce as his contract is suppose to expire

Carmichael sat behind and learned from possibly the greatest or one of the greatest offensive minds for 16 years. And what did he actually learn from it? To not use Kamara in space? To not use the screen game? To generate a horrific offense for his 2 year? Or are you counting the years he was “qb coach” to one of the greatest qbs of all time? Question? You’re also assuming Carmichael is going to take a demotion to stay on the team? There isn’t a single player that would be outraged over the firing of Carmichael. The guy is complete garbage. The fact that some of you want to keep him on staff is mind boggling. Carmichael should have been fired last year, and Allen should have been fired the moment he retained that idiot.

They were by one score because he had to throw to get himself out of the hole created in the first three quarters.

Well, he's been an offensive assistant here since 2006, so maybe he's qualified

That and in second half comeback attempts, if you watched that offense all season and thought it ever truly looked functional, I don’t know what to tell you.

My thoughts as well.

Everyone should pay attention to this post. Hurricane has had legit insider stuff from Airline on the Pels before.

This will be solid strategy driving to tank town.

Still remember the Duncan jinx tweet this year.

“Saints have really avoided injury bug this season.”

Then every Saint proceeds to get hurt

I don’t get the dynamic of Gruden being on staff and not being head coach or OC.
Curry is an unknown at OC.

It’s some kind of odd Frankencoaching situation.
