So you originally said you’d be pissed if it were anything more than 3 years/$10M which averages out to $3M a year.

So technically you’re only allowed to hate this in 2025

Last night when I was estimating what AK and JW together will cost, I stated there's no way it's an even distribution and the first year was likely light.

*ETA: I'll say it again, if we signed him to be our starting RB and didn't have almost $20M/year invested in our other RB, I'd think this was a good bargain deal. We are just WAY too heavily invested at RB (in terms of % of cap) than any elite team will be for the foreseeable future. You don't win SBs paying RBs a lot

We don't win super bowls with the rbs we had without AK either.

We don't win many games when we don't have a productive RB either.

Dude he is going to come in and be a fit immediately. It reminds me of peak Ingram/AK days when they were out there having a blast on and off the field. I think this lights a spark under AK as well and he knows he doesnt have to carry the load. We ridin. BAW

Nailed it. That back field AK41's rookie year was so exciting bc Ingram was still able to contribute at a high level doing the traditional RB things, but still able to catch a screen and make something happen. JW fits that role now.
