This season is going to be BRUTAL. Everyone needs to go into this realizing that 3-5 wins is the likely end result.

I hope you are wrong.
With a good run game now that everyone is healthy and the addition of D. Neal the Saints should be in most games. QB is our question. Improvement in Rattler is key. I think Kellens RPO system fits him best. I am hoping for the best with competitive games and a few more wins than expected.

Outside of the Katrina season, first time winning less than 7 games since 1999. 4 year playoff drought. Mid record the 3 years prior to last year.

Definitely need to earn our stripes again.

Yeah, if a lot of the Board thinks this is going to be a winning season then the discussions are going to be brutal.

Yes. I also hope we can embrace the spoiler role this year to mess up the Bucs and dirty birds as much as possible. Would love to hang a couple of pivotal late season losses on each of them.

what's deserved? we were bad team, we radically changed the culture of the team and coaching staff. and now its deserved? what's deserved? no carr so now its deserving? another fricking dig strictly coming from a sky skreaming mentality.

Yes, we obviously earned not having a primetime game over the past 2 years because we were a dreadfully boring team for large parts of those years. The league agrees.

I am glad that this new staff and a young QB will get a "normal" schedule of noon and 3pm games, and can work in the shadows a bit

now you're starting to snowball the dramatics. we were 9-8, a winning team and barely missed the playoffs despite having a pretty injury riddled year. Were weren't a bad team last year, we just fell off the cliff with injuries and players quit on the coach. Saints are still an interesting and dynamic team imo.

Last two years were a waste of time Mickey. Carr was a high floor/ low ceiling option. No one gives a shite about a high floor, we want championships. Or at least try for a championship. The rest of the nfl is laughing at us.

I’m not expecting more than 6 or 7 wins.

What I want to see is a football team that has an identity. What are we good at and let’s make that our identity.
We have a stable of RBs and a good, but not deep, OL. We have questions at QB and no #1 WR. I’d expect us to be run heavy and bend don’t break defense.

I want to see player improvement. I want to see Bresee, Fuaga, Banks, Kool-Aid and some other young guys establish themselves as legit high-quality NFL starters.

I want to see a coaching staff that comes in with a plan, can make adjustments, and doesn’t make huge blunders.

I like getting a good sleep in on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday nights. It's always fun watching Cowboys fans on Tuesday mornings after choking in primetime.

And what happened that year? We won our first playoff game. Anything can happen especially with this schedule.

I don't care to see the Saints on national tv.

I think most of the blind optimists will quickly cave once it’s obvious how devoid of talent this roster is.

By then hopefully we can have some productive discussions on the replacement coordinators and who might be available with a top 3 pick.
