I'm not saying we made the wrong pick, but curious why a 3 year starter at Alabama was passed on for a 1 year division 1 player?

Robinson has an amazing pass set. But his run blocking is less than stellar.

Ramzcyk is a road grader and is decent against the pass rush. We are obviously all in on running the damn ball.

Those corn fed midwesterners with last names where they replace vowels with a "y" are usually good. I approve.

No he's not better than C Rob. The staff seems to follow the same drafting blueprint every year that nets a 7-9 season.

Yes Ramzcyk has amazing footwork; Cam Rob has a higher ceiling, but he's lazy and it shows on tape.

We don't want somebody who doesn't want to be in Louisiana anymore, and who needed Saban to bully police officers to stay out of big trouble.

Thanks for the hot take. Too bad every scout, draft analyst, and football mind disagree with you.

I guess we went with more of a run blocker LT because we run the ball so damn much. Actually, I am glad we didn't draft Cam because every sack or hurry he gave up would be a shot by LSU fans as how dumb they were drafting him.

This. Also if you were anti-Foster then you were probably anti-Cam. Not that their issues are all the same, but Cam had an off the field incident as well and is a little lazy.

You can teach footwork and pass blocking, you cannot really teach effort and power in run blocking.
Plus, Brees doesn't hold it long.
