Damn I thought Brady was a couple years younger than Brees. That’s incredible.

he threw 2 duds in crunch time yesterday.

he missed Ginn who was open on a 3rd down. Threw behind him.

then threw one in the dirt intended for MT 13 and that stopped the clock.

he was off yesterday some.

part of the loss is on him.

Brady is definitely in better shape ability wise than Brees at a year older.

Maybe there is something to that crazy diet he holds to.

Brees, at worst, was the 2nd best QB in the nfl this year lol

His body is in decline but his mind makes up for most of it.

Lack of receiving talent certainly does not help.

I think he honestly is in a decline. He’s 40 and had a major shoulder injury in his past. I think a full season took a toll on him and he didn’t have the same zip on the ball or ability to throw it deep. It’s just a reality of an older QB getting...old.

Now I’ll also say the O line didn’t help him much this year with declined play and injuries. And the lack of skill players made it hard for him to find options. Arnold, Kirkwood, Carr, Griffin...these aren’t the players the Saints should be relying on at this stage of their program.

meh

I dont expect Ginn of all people to make that catch, but at the game i had that as a play that shouldve been made by the WR. I will have to watch it again

The throw to Thomas and OT INT were bad. The thomas pass is one he's made 100 times successfully, that one hurt

it just shocked me that's all.

the pass to Ginn was definitely on Brees.

you will see.

as bad as that call was at the end, we had a chance to squash it early on and didn't.

not scoring a TD and settling for a FG after the Davis interception came back to haunt us.

From the Dallas game on, Brees threw for 857 yards, 3 TDs., and 3 INTs.

Those are terrible numbers for a QB of his pedigree and shows there is something wrong.

He can't beat you over the top anymore, but that has been the case for the past few years now. That said, at least for me, it looked like his age was showing more during this season than any other. He was steller for the first several weeks, but as the season dragged on it looked like he was getting gassed.

Yes. I think year will be the point of diminishing returns with Brees. He’s limited and defenses will begin to smother us.

He had a great run. There were other years besides 2009 where with any kind of defense, we would have been in the championship mix, mostly because of Brees

100% chance you’ve said this every other year since 2012

Maybe slightly but yesterday it was more the offensive line faltering against the front seven of the Rams. Brees did make several ill-advised throws, though.

Seriously doubt I have, but knock yourself out going through my post history.

Funny how people love to ignore stats when it goes against their narrative. It’s undisputable Brees was two different QBs this year.
