13.8 carries/game -> Would put him 14th in attempts per game
64.1 YPG -> Would put him 11th in yards per game
4.6 YPC -> Would put him T-10th overall
0.5TD/game -> Would put him T-7th overall

4.2 rec/game -> Would put him in 4th in receptions/game
33.8 YPG -> Would put him 5th in yards/game

If he finished, it'd put him 4th in total rushing and receiving yards if he finished the season (Behind Peterson, Martin, and Freeman).

Even missing 4 games, he ended up top 10 still.

he's also missed ~25% of all games played during his career here due to injury or other reason.

stopped reading there.

if you are going to troll try harder. The running back position is so devalued nowadays.

name me a RB who is actually worth a shite that hasn't missed a lot of time in the last 5 years.

the last guy that I can even think of would be close would be LaDainian Tomlinson. He hardly ever got hurt but he was a great back and Ingram will never be.

so I mean I guess I wasted my time as usual by answering here.

so frick you

I truly don't understand the hate for Ingram by Saints fans. He's a good back. Is he great? No, but you guys throw the ball 40-50+ times a game - EVERY game.

Ingram really turned it on, I thought, last year prior to injury. The only rationale that I can think of is that easily 50% plus of Saints fans are also LSU fans and well, they mad.
To put it in perspective, I'd take Ingram in a heartbeat in ATL if we didn't have 2 good young RBs already. Hell, I might still take Ingram cause he's much bigger than our 2 RBs.

I'd argue, he isn't ELITE, but he's clearly above average.

LSU fans are tards on this topic.
They're always mad "WE DON'T PICK LSU!!!!" and "LOOK AT PETERSON, OBJ, AND COLLINS, they are better than 'x' player!!!" - clearly ignoring the fact we couldn't get either, but ignore other colossal busts (that thank God we couldn't get) such as Morris Claiborne and Barkevious Mingo.

So would many teams, at 4mil a year he's cheap and produces top 5 total numbers when healthy and given the lack of touches.

Ingram isn't injury prone but every time Ivory so much as walked slow y'all were ready to run him out of town. Saints fans man

And look how that dumb arse trade worked out, Ivory has missed like 1-2 games in 2 seasons

do you know anything or are you just going to post contrarian thoughts here 95% of the time?

I didn't like the Cooks pick to be honest at the time but since he plays here I root for him

People were jumping all over Jones if he was available (proven product), but wanted Mingo if he wasn't. most here was split 50/50 on those two. Nobody wanted Sam in the first round and Sam ended up a worse pro than Mingo. 3rd round pick, 3 different teams, now currently unemployed.

But to continue the whole point. EVERYONE constantly blabbers about "we need LSU PLAYERS!", but ignore the fact that so many were out of reach or under the value compared to our pick. The only realistic one in the past couple of years being Landry and at the time we had 4 receivers, 2 RBs, and 1 halfway decent CB (Greer just retired).

In all respect, Ingram seemed to run with his eyes closed in his first 2 years as a saint. He deserved all the flack he was getting on this board. He's running with better vision now, he still needs to work on coughing the ball up at critical times of the game.

Exactly. When have we really committed to the run game?

Not taking a flyer on Collins, as cheap as he was, was a screw-up.

Elle ohhhhh Elle. He is one of the least fumbling backs in the game. He has 6 total for his career.

I was thinking that, too.
