IMO. Tyler Warren is the only option at #9. Give the Check Down king an ultimate Check Down weapon.

If Dart is there at 40 get him for the future because your not getting a chance at a top QB in 2026. The rest invest in the OLine and pass rushers from the edge or OLB spot.

Not sold on Dart that high. Saints already have a young running qb who now has starting experience. Also have too many needs for that 2nd pick than a hopeful qb who won’t contribute this year. Saints need O and Dline help much more than another qb.

40 is not high for Dart. He will likely got in the late first. Early 2nd at worst. Maybe he’s there at 40 but I doubt it and I wouldn’t trade up for him.

Someone else might take him that high. I’m just saying the Saints have no business taking him with that pick because of too many other needs.
Personally, I don’t see Dart being more than an NFL backup.

After his first game, I thought he did “Okay" for a rookie. I actually held out a little hope. However, after that, it seemed like he regressed every game. He just got worse, and worse, and worse. By the end of the season, I had no hope that he could ever develop into even a competent backup.

I would never take a quarterback in the first few rounds of this year's draft as overall the position is weak this year and, more importantly, we’re going to be either sucking or in a rebuilding mode for the next 3 to 4 years. There’s no use in running out a decent quarterback's rookie contract given what the Saints will be facing the next few years.

If we view this year as being a waste and look to cut Carr next year so that will we will be rebuilding, then I would look at taking a quarterback next year or the year after.

Having said that, if there’s somebody that we might be able to develop in the fifth through seventh rounds, maybe take a flyer on that. But we shouldn’t be drafting any quarterback in the first four rounds. To do so would just be compounding the utter f*cking incompetency of signing Carr in the first place.

I'm fine with Warren at 9 if Graham and Campbell are both gone and they like him better than Jeanty

Compete for the Division when? Not next year, I don't think.

I definitely wouldn’t take Dart there, but I also wouldn’t really call Rattler a running QB.

Hard pass that high. They’ll have pretty nice talent at 40 instead of gambling on a qb.

Not a fan of taking a TE at #9. He would have to be an absolute freak

If the Saints pick a qb the earliest will probably be 4 or 5th round at best.
