Same offer if you're ever in Jacksonville. I'll definitely buy you a drink if you ever make it up here.

I always had you pegged as a younger guy, but nonetheless, I’m sorry for your loss. I’m sure this season will be tough for you. I’ve always thought it was a beautiful thing when a woman takes interest in the same things their husband does, it makes it special for you...
If you make the trip to NOLA for a game for whatever reason, post about it here beforehand and maybe we can meet up and try to have a good time
I send you my sincerest condolences

My sincere condolences blues.
Your honesty here is refreshing, hope you come through this as well, as she would have wanted you to do.

As a not regular poster I have always enjoyed the info you bring here. I am sure Mrs Blues was always a part of it. It sounds like a wonderful marriage and friendship you all were able to share. God bless

I am so very sorry for your loss, and I hope that the black and gold will aid in the grieving process. I also wish to congratulate you on your 13 years of marriage to a woman whom you obviously adored.
I hope that your dedication will bring her a smile in heaven, as well as pleasant memories for you on gamedays.

will do goat & goon
Thanks for the kind words all. It was a sudden massive heart attack so I've been dealing with the shock of it all. It was incredibly cool to have a wife who would ask, Have any good draft pick highlight videos?. And ya know how a lot of jerkwads can just pull lame inaccurate football facts out of their arse? Most of the time I roll my eyes and don't waste my time. It was always entertaining cuz she was not inhibited from calling out or correcting those types.
Football season on a whole might be the biggest loss for me in her passing. Makes me proud though that I can say that.

Blues, did she teach at Holy Family in Port Allen at one point? I think she was a teacher while I was there and I want to say taught science??

You are truly blessed to have such an amazing woman in your life. I know that the entire Saints family will have your wife in our thoughts at every game this season.
