if there was even a 1% chance sean thought taysom was our QB of the future he would be riding the bench to protect such a valuable asset
the fact taysom plays as much as he does and in very high risk of injury situations says sean is lying his arse off about taysoms future here
its all smoke and mirrors trying to get a 1st round pick for taysom if another team signs him

any team who signs him we get a choice to match or get that teams 1st round pick as compensation

Before you jump down his throat maybe you should stop to think that he knows this and simply realizes that no team will sign him with that high of a tender.

At the most he's as good as Cam Newton outside of his MVP year. Big, strong QB who can make plays with his feet and isn't very accurate.
If Newton can be a QB, then Taysom can be a QB

Well lets see....
He has a cannon for an arm and can fit ball in all windows.
Can make plays out of nothing with his feet and arm.
Can run around LB's and through DB's.
Would easily be the 2nd fastest QB in league behind only Lamar.
All of these things Teddy cannot do and Drew cannot either.
Only thing he lacks is experience and believe it or not at one point in time Drew, Tom and even Peyton lacked experience.

Can run around LB's and through DB's.
Would easily be the 2nd fastest QB in league behind only Lamar.

He has underthrown nearly every deep ball he’s attempted, to the point where the WR has had to come back and get it. Hand size matters
Average hand size for NFL QB: 9.6 inches
Hill's hand size: 8 3/4
Drew Brees' hand size: 10 1/4

Sounds like he’d be a perfect fit for the role he already plays. One that has him running and catching the football and not throwing it

Which is why I said outside of Cam’s MVP year, Taysom could definitely be regular season Cam.
