I'm glad Payton is getting it from all angles.

First, Rodgers told him like it is and now Hackett. I just find it funny, that someone who ran from an organization. Has the never to criticize someone else's coaching when they weren't there. I hope Rodgers runs it up on them this season.

Payton probably wasn’t wrong but I was shocked he made the decision to give the media those nuggets.

Hackett elected to play for a 64 yd FG in an outdoor stadium, the organization had to hire a veteran coach midseason to teach him game management, got fired in 15 games. You don't have to be on the inside to see that he did an incredibly shitty job.

Payton said what was already known when he didn’t have to. Everyone knew Denver wasn’t going to be a turnaround in year 1, but he has to make someone else the scapegoat for when things go awry for him.

Of course, just like he said that our facilities were crappy and the technology was crappy when he got here. Then, he praised the Broncos facilities and technology being ahead of ours. For someone who is a football genius. He is common sense stupid. How can you compare facilities and technology with a 10 year gap?If none of it has progressed that's a bad sign.

I disagree. Hackett was a terrible coach to everyone with eyes who could see. Coaches should never be hassled for telling the truth. I wish more coaches were shite-talkers who told it like it is.

Screw it, I’m still pissed Hackett cost me money week one on a six team parlay by losing to Seattle. They were favored big to. He deserves all the criticism. He gave Wilson his own office from what I read. Made constant piss poor decisions all year. Payton was 100% correct in what he said, but it was in bad taste.

Sean is a bullshitter that likes to hear himself talk and like the attention. The saints would have given him any facility and technology staff he wanted, not a penny spared.

Rodgers being praised for this is down right laughable considering he basically ran McCarthy out of GB and didnt seem to get along with Lefleur either.

He won a few games with QB issues one year but people forget they started 5-2 and then went 4-6 to close the season.
Payton was a good coach that was bolstered by a hall of fame QB that was a coach on the field. I can to stand Brees, but in his prime he was one of if not he best QBs in history.
The Saints lack of success (hardware) outside of the first 4 years was almost entirely on Payton’s arrogance and refusal to use good scouting. His late success at NOLA has more to do with Ireland’s drafting that led to a great defense to counter his awful offenses.

Biggest diva in all of football. They allowed him to run off players, coaches, and GM's while giving him enormous paydays, and it still wasn't enough for him.
