Don’t get me wrong. I love the saints. I’m not saying I’m out on being a fan. But this year’s iteration is fricking infuriating. Last nights effort was fricking pathetic. No excuse to come out and play like that in that important of a game, in prime time. Derek Carr is incredibly unlikeable and I get more frustrated with him every time I watch him play. The team as a whole looks like they pick and choose when they want to play hard. All a sign of piss poor leadership (Dennis Allen) that our stupid fricking front office continues to stand behind for some mind numbing reason. It’s just tiring.

It’s not just losing that has me pissed. It’s the not giving a frick for 3 and a half quarters and everyone looking like they’d rather be anywhere but playing football.

But we watch anyway. And enough people show up to the games. Is there any incentive for the organization to make changes?

Oh there’s hundreds. I’ve honestly never seen a FO run like ours, and I mean that in a bad way.

Many fans were ready to replace Brees years before the knees and his retirement. Many fans were ready to run Payton out of town. Instead of enjoying the best years of our franchise history; they bitched, moaned, and ruined the experience for others.

Many fans are fickle and stupid.

i think that's what makes this team that much worse, than our normal middle of the road, lost seasons...

the fact that we don't like the new "star" QB, and the coaching staff, etc, it makes it that much easier to start to "hate" this team, rather than just checking out and moving on to the offseason... the disdain for certain elements of the team, knowing full well some, if not all, of them will still be here next year, it's just a black cloud on top of the lost year

I'm just to the point where I don't care anymore. I'll watch, but I'm not losing sleep over it.

I was talking about this with another fan last night. I'm on the younger side (early 30s) so I wasn't really around for the teams worst years obviously. I get why oldheads don't want to bottom out and be like, 2 wins bad, but here's my thing...

I truly think being where we are now is worse than being like bottom of the barrel. It's unbelievably frustrating to have a team that COULD win a lot of games, but can't, because they just suck at executing or have bad coaching.

For example..this team is probably going to finish with a record similar to the triple 7-9 years we had from 2014-2016. Those teams WERE frustrating, but way less frustrating than this team. Why? Because those teams had no talent on defense. We expected them to give up a quadrillion yards. They sucked. They were starting UDFAs everywhere. This team has way more talent, but is underperforming even against bad opponents. It's maddening.

So yeah. I get you. I'd rather this team just bottom out and suck, at least we'd be able to look forward to draft picks and have hope for the future. As it stands now it's obvious they're gonna keep DA, draft another lineman, and run it back next year being mediocre again.

I basically stopped watching after Drew bent a knee to the woke BLM crowd. Sorry. Not sorry.

I stopped caring after the Rams playoff game realizing once and for all this league is rigged, stopped watching after Brees bent knee…got bored with life and accepted it for what it is “Entertainment” it don’t mean anything and I don’t care if they make the playoffs or go 0-17 I just like watching for entertainment purposes and discussion and playing fantasy football now.

Welcome to the club. I’ve pretty much have hated this team for 3 years now. Not trying to be edgy, but it’s had a lot of unlikeable factors, that existed well before this season.

They definitely need a hard reset of the front office, coaching staff, roster, qb, etc

And again, we have a minimum of 7 wins, so we likely are going to be boxed out of drafting someone like Jayden Daniels as he rapidly moves up draft boards and potentially even gets drafted #1.

His demeanor reminds me of Brooks.

It's never gonna be Carr's fault, and thats going to drive everybody around him crazy.

Btw, has anybody seen that mother fricker with a tablet during a game?

It's fun when even the Saints players themselves hate attending Saints games.

Haven’t watched a single game or spent a dime on the Saints organization all year. So I’m doing my part.
