If we pick LT at 16 and the cheif dangle 2first this year and a 2nd this year for 19???

You take it and run with it. Get Pickens at WR with one of those picks.

I don’t think they’re gonna give up 2 1sts to just get to 19. And certainly not a 2nd. They do have way more picks than roster spots, so I’d expect them to move up a couple of times. Of course, they could also pull a Patriots and move that draft capital back to next year. I think they have 12 picks. Probably do a little bit of both.

I know the cheifs really wants jameson and if he's there at 16 or 19 I know they'll get desperate and offer that pair of first and a second.. it's really possible seeing that they have 12 draft picks... No way they keep them all

They'd probably have to give both picks in the 30s and we throw them a 3rds and future 4th or something. I'd do it and target Pickens like someone else said

You take it and then take their staff out to dinner. In a loaded WR class, we can make good stuff happen. People forget we are getting back Michael Thomas and Winston back, we have a loaded roster. Add more talent with more premium picks should be our goal. Hell I would call the Chiefs right now!!!!!!

Its a bigger jump, but big difference between 14 and 19. They’d want our 16 for the 2 1sts. And even that likely isn’t gonna get them who they want unless somebody’s fallen. In which case, we may want that guy ourselves. But if we’ve got 4 guys we really like still on the board at 16, then 1 is guaranteed to still be there at 19, so I’d still consider it.
I don’t like Pickens at all, especially since we’re committed to Jameis for the next 2 years and Picket’s biggest plus is he’s most NFL ready. But the 2 picks at the end of the 1st would allow us to take a flyer on a Corrall/Ridder/Howell type guy who may need a couple years of development. Carmichael not wanting the OC gig originally makes me wonder who’s got the vision for the future of the offense in general, but especially the QB room. Are they ready to give up on Book? Was he simply a Payton pet project? Do they think any of those guys are that much better than him to move on from him after just 1 year?
