If Hanes starts then it is another dink and dunk style offense which is torture to watch.

Rattler gives best chance to win. If he doesn't start it is a coaching failure.
Sure Hanes can make some throws but is too conservative to make the big plays. Will be another check down offense like Sieman/Dalton/Teddy. Rattler has the balls to make risky throws and has wheels to avoid our terrible OLine flaws and can extend drives. Mahomie 1.7

I CANNOT WATCH ANOTHER CHECK DOWN OFFENCE. the years prior to Carr and after Brees were miserable to watch.

I miss Drew

It's what we're going to get with this o-line regardless.

Who is Hanes? I often wonder if about half of TD posters are literate.

Yep, you do what you have to do with talent you have available. Plus, all of football has basically become dink and dunk. Look at passing stats in the NFL and even college football. Everything is designed to get the ball out fast to players in space and stretch the defense horizontally. Because of the way most teams are playing defense even vertical shots are mostly quick hitting passes into the seams trying to catch defenders going the other direction and hitting gaps in the defense. You don't see much over the top anymore.

He was still much better than what we have on probably 80% of the passes we throw. But I really miss 2008-2016 Drew

We've been a dink and dunk offense with deep throws sprinkled in.

Carr has been throwing deep more often than I can remember even Drew going.

No one is perfect. I’d say half the posters here are illiterate and the other 2/3rd’s struggle with some basic math principles.

Hell, we need some dink and dunk. We have ZERO intermediate passing right now. Dink and dunk opens up the deep balls and run game.
