Idk why players get all butthurt when they get traded

This is the NFL it's a business, this ain't your alma mater the only loyalty they have is to put a good product on the field for the fans and make money. Players sure as hell don't give a shite about loyalty when they leave for more money.

They develop friendships and relationships around new orleans. It’s a business but it’s also a cold one. Ceedy is nola at heart. Hate to see him go but part of it

I think they should understand it comes with the profession.

I understand this, but I also think there is a difference in being disappointed and butthurt. I don't think they should get mad, but I do understand being emotional or even upset.

This is why you have a home base for the off-season in city of your choosing and maintain a second residence for your present team.
Of course I’m sure most guys put down roots in their first team’s city but can always return home during the off-season.

I mean imagine you had to uproot your family, sell house, buy a new one, leave the place you are comfortable in, all to change to a shittier workplace environment and not get paid a dime more.
I totally get why players would be pissed when they get traded to lesser teams.

I get why they react that way in the moment, The puzzling ones are the people that hold onto that shite for years down the road (talking about you Apple). Sure it is a business and should be approached that way. However, when you are putting your body out there for every snap, there is a lot of emotion involved as well. CeeDee is a very emotional player, which is part of what makes him great.

You see it a lot with young players on their drafted teams getting traded. You have all this emotion tied to the only franchise you know as well as the players there. Think about it. The coaches, players, staff are all these guys know coming into the league. To leave that is tough on the first go. Once they move to a 2nd, 3rd team and so on, it becomes the business part you speak of. You see them defend their drafted teams in a style similar to their alma matter. Once they hit another market, the feeling just isn't the same.

Young players and older players are different. The older guys understand that it’s a business.
