I'd prefer not to risk a dead cats bounce on an interim. Maybe they play a little bit better when Allen is fired, frick up our draft position and the interim coach gets the permanent job rather than conducting a real coaching search and we continue on with the same Payton-Allen era leftover coaching staff.

Agree.

We’ve needed a top 10 pick for years.

Let’s go for top 5

That's all fine and dandy until Allen lucks into 5-7 wins and they keep him

I'd rather risk having a mid teens draft pick and be rid of Allen than risk keeping him longer than this year

This is what every knowledgeable fan should be fearful of.

Loomis’s ego is so big that he is searching for any reason to bring him ba k and be ‘right’

This may be Gayle’s whole secret plan, let DA drive the tank and get rid of everyone this offseason. Maybe she is more than just a gold digger…

You have confidence we’ll hit on these picks?

We’ve drafted so many 1st round busts and spend a lot to get them in many cases and have whiffed on so many more and passed on so many obvious picks that have gone on to be great that I just don’t have any faith with our front office making any pick anymore.

This front office has coasted on that 2018 draft and it is painfully obvious now that it was pure luck.

This won’t get any better until there are different people making the decisions.

We need to just keep him for another month but fire him before end of year. I firmly believe a coach can be so bad he ruins part of his roster if he’s never held accountable for results.

Additionally, we have a flawed basis for making picks. Drafting guys simply because they have a high RAS score is dumb af. This is how someone like Anthony Richardson gets picked 4th overall. The game is played on the gridiron not in a gym. It’s a lazy way to make a selection.

I'm scared they pull out 5-6 wins the rest of the season, and Loomis's arrogant arse retains DA.

Allen needs to be fire, but I don't think any coach is gonna be able to do anything with how badly this roster has been mismanaged. We have a nice collection of players past their prime and players that have yet to develop into anything. It'll take years of good drafts to fix.

I just don’t think this is the draft where you’re going to get a franchise course altering player at any position in the top ten. This is a good draft for depth. I just don’t see anyone in college that is of that caliber.

I’d rather try to get quantity picks and build some young talent and depth. And the Saints need new blood there. We’ve missed on so many players.

Agree with all this.

Years already done.

Drive that tank hard, Dufus.
