No. You are probably saying this because you assumed we would thump a "bad" Panther team and are now lacking faith.

Anybody that watches Carolina knew they would be tough and their record doesn't quite reflect how good they can be, especially on D.

The lambs? ehh, not so much.

This will be our first easy win after a pretty physical, not so pretty, 3 week stretch.

Didn't you laugh at carolina too? Yet they nearly put us away. nearly. Every shitty team will play us tough. Only play off hopeful teams will play us soft. They want to save their guys the injuries.

There are probably going to be 5,000 or so Saints fans there to 40,000 Rams fans.

If we get up it will feel like Miami again.

This is nothing like before.. Prior "good" saints teams playing bad teams would play down the competition.. but this team takes care of teams like this.. See the Lions game this year.

I think we beat them by 20. The Rams unlike the Panthers are in a mess right now.

Who in the hell laughed at the Panthers? Thats insane. Thats a team that was in the playoffs last season and just got off to a bad start this season. They have a monsterous run game, they are well-coached and their pass defense is number 1 in the entire NFL.
Yes the Rams have Steven Jackson.. but unlike the Panthers and Falcons that is all they have.. They don't even have an O-line.

From here on out, I expect to get the "best" game out of each of our remaining opponents.

They might even consider it a moral victory just knock the Saints off their unbeaten perch, even if their season is already in the tank.

Everyone that I talked to, everyone expect a saints victory and expect us to steam rolled them easy. I was the one telling them that even though they are down, they will go for the jugular right off the bat. Right now we need to protect our guys for playoffs so we will play softer, they will play harder.

I'm glad the Rams got their first win before the bye. The Saints have taken some quarters off during the past several weeks. My suggestion would be to actually show up for the first half and if you play well, maybe you won't have to finish so strong. I'd like to see Brunell out there handing off in the 4th quarter (with Brees healthy on the sidelines). There's no reason the Rams should be able to hang around as long as the last three teams have. The injuries are starting to mount and a few quarters of stress free ball over the next two weeks would be ideal.

I did not crown anyone, I said they would give us a run for our money. Did I say win? no. My co-workers as with everyone I talked to expected the Saints to put the panthers away easily. I told them on the other hand that Carolina would give us a game just like ATL Falcon did. They laughed at the thought but I was right. Carolina also made us played all four quarters.
