These aren't successful ppl making these emotional post. Just let them vent--its the only thing that keeps them going after a hard day of gas station work
Normally I’d agree with you but they’ll start threads about firing people or picking up some random FA on like a random Tuesday that’ll supposedly solve all our problems

0-4 last four games and you’re bragging about over performing considering circumstances of latest injuries. Nice
I think he is impressed with the 4th quarter comebacks when the score is totally out of hand so the defense is keeping everything in front of them so the final score looks halfway respectable but if the defense played like all game they would be shut out.

I agree. Wideout has been a major problem last few years and we never addressed it. We literally had MT at WR1 and rest were WR3/4 and practice squad players if that.
It was okay when we had a QB like Drew Brees who completely elevates the play of every skill position of the offense, but now that we have Trevor Siemian we need actual WR2,3,4 players that can make plays, catch passes, and contest balls.
But the skill positions on this team are devastated, but these 'fans' probably became fans after 2006 and are use to be spoiled pricks.

This is not football that any rational human has any interest in watching. Call us “fake” fans or fair weather fans or what have you, but this is bad football
Ok then… only watch them when they are a few games over 500 and keep your dumbass, fair weathered opinions to yourself
If y’all only want to watch when they’re good then just say so

What do you think makes good teams good and bad teams bad?
If we could make 2nd-4th string players work why would anyone bother paying high priced players or drafting highly ranked player? You could just get the 4th string guy to do it for peanuts

Top 3 coaches in the NFL don’t just “come back down to earth”. They adapt, evolve, and survive. Payton did not.
Fair enough… show me one head coach who has a plus .500 record without their starting QB, RB, WR, etc
They also got rid of that horrible punter that you hated, so kudos for that….
It’s been a fricked up year for our roster.. I don’t know how anyone can’t see that

Do y’all not realize the circumstances surrounding the team right now? The injuries? The QB, RB, WR position have been decimated
No no no according to one main idiot poster this is all sean Paytons fault.

Am I really out of touch?? Or are my complaints about people bitching valid?
I’m genuinely curious

Tbh, it feels halfway decent when a somewhat recognizable poster agrees with me
I was wondering if I was becoming one of those ‘get off my lawn’ types
I’m only 33
Or 34 I can’t remember tbh

These ppl are idiots---
The ring leader thinks 30+ yr old T.Hill is a savior at QB when he's literally never been even a decent QB--in college

100%.
No fricking team in the NFL can win consistently when their starting qb goes down. Then take out your all pro rb and wr, bang up your oline, and you're fricked as an offense.

There’s a difference between watching a competitive team and a winning team. The Lions have lost 10 games this year but were in every single one of them, and not just because they scored in garbage time. Football games are entertaining when they feature two competitive teams giving their all for a win. The result being in doubt, and the consequences of a victory or a loss being relevant drive the drama and suspense for the audience and foster emotional investment. Most folks watch football to be entertained in this fashion.
This Saints team, as they are currently configured with the injuries suffered, is not a competitive team. They have zero chance of winning any games. They’re not even the wacky fun kind of bad. They’re just a sad, lifeless, hopeless team right now with very little opportunity to change that this season with the current roster.
Football games played by non-competitive teams against competitive teams are not entertaining because the results are never in doubt, and thus the consequences are never worth being invested in.
