I don’t like how the Draft appears to be shaking out

McShay is hearing no QB is getting picked until the Steelers at 20. If that happens, it’s likely the top 4 WR (Williams, Olave, Wilson, London) and the top 4 tackles (including Penning) are gone by 16. There’s a drop off at both those positions after those. Anybody want the 2nd best safety? The 2nd best IOL?

I don't believe it.
While none of the QB's have high end round 1 grades Willis, Pickett, and Carrol could go before 16.

I have a hunch Loomis expects his phone to be ringing at #19 if Willis is still on the board.

If that's the case, I think it's 100% we take a QB...probably Willis.

I will respectfully disagree. nothing in the draft is 100%.
This possibility can be advantageous for the Saints. Saints pick becomes trade bait. Perceived "need" (for another team) often equals over paying.

I think only one QB (Willis) gets picked before our pick. Everyone knows this is a weak QB class. I see it like 2014 where Bortles went 3rd, Johnny Manziel went 22nd and Teddy Bridgewater went 32. (Carr went at 36).
I think Willis gets picked somewhere before 15, then some people trade up between 20-32 for Pickett, Ridder and Corral.

CBS Sports released a mock draft this morning that had no QBs taken in the top 15. They had the Saints taking Willis at 16 and Penning at 19. Chris Olave didn't go till 29th. Not saying that I like thier mock, just that there will be plenty of good people still there at 16 if no QBs are drafted ahead of us.
Not to mention if all the QBs are still on the board at 16 and/or 19 I believe someone will try to trade back in to get ahead of Pittsburgh. So take one that you want and trade back and collect picks if the value isn't there.

Great point! No reason to talk about the draft or who might be available at our picks until draft day, or maybe until the draft actually starts. Or afterwards? Otherwise it’s a waste of time. Gotcha.

When have any of these “draft experts” been right? This is the month of click bait articles. Besides the first pick, which is almost always well known prior to draft, they don’t get much correct. Hail Mary prognostication in order to sound smart if they hit. I stopped listening to them when they start the inches on height, hand, or high jump going to the 0.25 of an inch. They outsmart themselves.
