Today was always the benchmark

Carolina is objectively a bottom 3 team in the league. We barely beat another one.

Saints should be 0-3 and are one of the worst teams in the league with a roster that should be at worst borderline playoff

you get what you pay for... Saints have put themselves in a situation where they have to be cheap, and so here we are...

at one point, the check had to come due, and it is, and we are fricked beyond just money, as we've given away our draft picks for nothing...

the incompetence from top to bottom is astounding

Really ? Research Dennis Allen's disastrous tenure in Oakland. Some men are HC's, and some are Coordinators, those that can't do both teach PE.

Wait what?

If we had $50M in cap room which all pro QB could we acquire?

perhaps if we had been in a better financial situation we could have gotten Russell Wilson, who'd excel in this offense...

but our disregard of the value of future draft picks, as well as mismanagement of available cap room/dead money, put us out of the running from the get go... so we had to stick with a low cost option, and of those we went with Winston... better than the other options, but still not a great starting QB in this league

I think if they put the Red Rifle in early and we get the W.

This Saints organization don’t give a flying frick. This performance was shite. Rebuild this organization. I drank the koolaide like a fool. The saints always finds a way to frick up a wet dream.

Defense is still good, just need a game manager to complete to open receivers and not make mistakes.

Allen needs to put him in though….

Dude Wilson sucks now and he demanded major capital AND a huge contract. We'd be in a much worse position

We had the cap room to get Watson. We could have gotten a QB but Watson didn't pick us so who else was there? Not many options.

I think SF wanted a 1st for Jimmy G. That would have been a huge overpay for a slight upgrade

It’s like the definition of obscenity. I know it when I see it. I know a poorly coached team when I see one.

It's our offense.

People keep blaming Allen but it's not a "he's a coordinator not a coach" situation. It's a "he's an assistant not a coordinator" situation.

And it appears the game has passed Marrone by. He's been BAD and so has our OL.

he's better than Winston, and would be better in our offensive scheme where timing and accuracy are more important than having a bazooka arm

absolutely disagree

didn't want Watson... would really frick up the locker room and would be a constant distraction, not to mention the suspension...

Slightly.

And exponentially more expensive.

Russ is all about holding the ball for long periods of time. You think that would do well with our bad OL?

Wait

So you want Russell Wilson but not Deshaun Watson?

JW just looks lost. Stares down all day long where he is going with the ball(see replay of that tipped ball and Int.). he didn't move his eyes one degree. He wasn't this bad last year.

Marrone and the oline are not looking good either.

I thought this team was too talented to be this bad. I thought Jameis would at least be competent and the talent would just get them to be above average.

But holy shite. Poorly coached. Poor performance. Just wow. I can’t believe this.

it truly is amazing how bad they look

defense looks great and is ready to play

no other part of the team even looks like it was remotely ready to play. its as though allen thinks he still just coaches defense and the offense and special teams better figure it out for themselves because allen has no clue about anything but defense
