A year in and people still don’t understand it’s not about you. No one cares if you aren’t scared to die. You probably are too cool to mask up in public too.

It’s that attitude that leads to spread of the virus which eventually makes its way to the at risk population. It’s no wonder America has the worst stats in the world. Selfish ego centricism.

If the country wasn’t hitting its second crisis point again I’d be all for careful introduction of fans. But the idiots ruin it for everyone. Hospitals are maxed out again. So we can’t have nice things.

Hopefully by next season, science will save us again and eliminate mask wearing and limited crowds altogether. Until then, the public can’t be trusted to do the right thing. Watch the videos of people drowning to death in the hospital while doctors watch helplessly.

Here come all the crying counter arguments and logical fallacies. It is what it is at this point. Objectively looking at the stats, you’d think everyone in society can look back and say they were wrong. Like the comparison to flu. No one spouts that shite anymore. No one with your stubborn hard fast opinion can see the logical and scientific, non-politically motivated point of view.

do you really think this 2nd peak is due to lack of mask wearing? You're in the Health care industry. You know why America is in the numbers they are. Worst health among first world countries by a mile. Diabetes, obesity, heart disease. You bitch about the lack of masks (btw, I see almost everyone wearing masks) and meanwhile the guy in front of you at the convenience store is wearing his mask while buying a coke and bag of funyuns.

What is stupid is that if you look at the states/cities/countries that are more strict with mask and lockdowns, they were/are still getting hammered. This "trust the science" BS needs to end and life needs to resume for the healthy people.

Masks don't work...shut downs don't work. If they did, COVID will be old news.

you serious? i go to the playground every weekend with my kids, i’ve seen other kids with masks maybe two or three times in the past 8 months. 95% of the time, i’m the only adult with a mask and my kids are the only children with them. These same kids that wear them at school i’m sure, go around kids all weekend long and don’t wear them? what’s the point?

My kids baseball games for fall ball, probably 250-300 people at the park at peak sitting amongst 4 fields. During an 8 game season, I saw maybe 4 or 5 people out of thousands that wore a mask. People sitting on top of each other in the stands, etc.

Do masks work? I have no clue and it doesn’t seem we’ll ever know as it doesn’t seem like we’ve tried to truly comply.
