the 2 officials who ACTUALLY failed to make the call last January, Patrick Turner & Gary Cavaletto, will NOT be on the crew in the Super Bowl
in fact... props to Nicholls St. alum Carl Johnson, who was picked to serve in his 2nd career Super Bowl, he will be the line judge in Miami

It would be nice to hear a recording from his headset during the Saints Rams Championship Game.
The fans would be treated to how the sausage is made.
Nothing like hearing live "points of emphasis" during the game.
On the infamous no call, I can hear NY saying the code words, "bang bang."

The NFL missed out last year of pushing the West Coast Market with the NFL RAMS losing in the Super Bowl...naming Bill Vinovich as Head Ref to this years Super Bowl crew gives them an almost guarantee West Coat Market WIN naming the NFL 49’ers Super Bowl CHAMPS....

They are pulling out every possible stop to do anything to undermine the legitimacy of their massive error in last years NFC Championship game in NOLA.
They gave Saints fan their little bullshite rule that they made a complete mockery of all year.
Another way to sweep it under the rug - the new rule will be thown out as soon as humanly possible (as soon as it is put to a vote).
It was simply an attempt to pander and compromise to our fanbase; to give NOLA their pound of flesh. Now that they neutered the spirit of the rule, they are going to trash it as redundant and obsolete and return to business as usual (oh well, sorry, it was human error - deal with it). This is how they handle the biggest officiating blunder in the history of all sports.
The NFL is a joke and Goddell is a garbage leader.
