Recently we have had trouble with mobile quarterbacks

I think Willie Gay will be on the field a lot this week specifically for this reason, but is that going to be enough?

We are going to have to have a lot of pressure on hurts to win this game. when he has a lot of time in the pocket, his receivers are athletic enough to get open, and it also opens up the lanes for him to run.

Hopefully we see some D line stunts, and some good containment from or DE's that will force hurts to make some downfield mistakes that we can capitalize on.

Defensive line will need to keep lane discipline. It kind of worries me because Breese gets great push, but he’s kind of a wrecking ball and out of control (in a good way). Young and Cam are really going to have to keep outside leverage and contain. We can’t just pin everything on the LBers.

We could incorporate more zone so we don't have our backs to him.

If Hurts breaks one, would love for the Honey Badger to light him up.

Play coverage. Let him run for first downs. Eventually it’ll be 3 and outs.

If hurts has to win this game rushing, they’re in trouble.

if we can keep their receivers covered then I like our chances against Hurts running. I'm pretty sure we can outlast them on offense (especially after watching them at Atlanta). As someone else said, if we force them to become one dimensional with Hurts as the primary runner, I think we'll do fine.

Even if he breaks a few runs for big chunks, he can't do it ALL GAME LONG. If they can contain him a few times, he may call off the idea of running, especially if he gets smoked by someone.

I believe that this game will be won by the offense, if they can put up the #s like they did for the past 2 weeks.

Even if the defense allows 20+ points, if we put up 30......then hey, put another notch in the W column.

Crowd noise will help too, so I'm anticipating a lot of false-starts.

Hurts looked slow vs ATL. Maybe it was an off night, but he didn't look lethal, or dedicated-spy worthy.

You’ll probably see us throw Werner and Demario in spy situations on him early depending on personnel. If Eagles go a little heavier on personnel because they don’t have AJ Brown and wanna use the ground game with Saquon then I think you’ll see us use 3 LBs a lot and use Gay to spy Hurts

Something I noticed watching the Falcons play them on Monday is the NFL really seems to be emphasizing the ineligible man downfield rule this season. Your coaching staff needs to stay on top of the refs tomorrow to make sure they're watching out for it. The Eagles have gotten away with that for years and the emphasis on that penalty really neuters their offense.

They're really good on the ground. They'll get theirs. Limit the explosive pass plays and make sure the refs are calling ineligible man downfield.
