Injuries are one thing. But how many plays were guys not touched for 20 yds.
It is a shame, but make no mistake we are a bad team that got beat by a bad team.
You can't waste the money we have on bust after bust and be good.

We'd be 3-0 with the 2nd or 3rd worst defense ever. But no, that's too much to ask for. We have way too many injuries again

It's not his coaching so much, as it is his poor talent evaluation and inability to construct a roster. He's picking these players...Loomis is just doing his bidding.
He wants toys for his offense first, blockers and defenders are secondary.

It's only been 10 years. Give Payton more time just like giving LES more time fixed LSU offense.

I'll say it again. 2009 relied on turnovers and offense getting up early and often. We did not have a dominant front 7. 2013? You really think that was dominant. Or just ranked high that one year? Looks like it wa a fluke huh? What happened after that??

Lololololol. How did that turn out?

Miles has the misfortune of coaching the wrong team in LA, the one where you can't ride one season in perpetuity

2010 and 2011 had good defenses too. I wouldnt consider them dominant, which was the question

The bottom line is, he's more than likely looking at his 5th .500 or below season in 10 years coaching, with 3 in a row.

The trend is not in his favor

That seems clear. The problem is that there does not seem to be an owner with the capacity to make any changes. So, Payton will continue to throw everyone else under the bus in his usual arrogant self.

For some reason, Payton is convinced that small fast guys are better defenders. The Saints have no chest on defense.

Well to be fair, you can't have expensive arse rims when you spent all your money on the motor in your car
