Honey Badger is done isn't he?

He just looks like a shell of himself. No fire..no emotion at all. Every time they showed him yesterday, he just looked disengaged. He's also lost a couple steps. Sad to see. Maybe I'm missing something. I hope I'm missing something.

Probably sucks going from a team that went to 4 straight AFC Championships and has a floor of winning a playoff game, to a team that is capped at squeaking into the playoffs and has a floor of winning 5 games.

He’s 30 years old. He really wasn’t all that great last year either. It’s pretty common for players to drop off once they near 30. Now as to why he seems disengaged, idk

One thing I noticed about Badger this off season and looking at him last year at KC is that he is noticeably smaller than we has while at Arizona and earlier with KC. In street clothes he looks to be about 175-180.
What kept him going was his fire and swagger. I don't see any of that this year. I also don't know if they are using him to his strengths. He is at his best while blitzing and mixing it up at the line. I rarely see the Saints using him in that fashion.

Take it for what it's worth... according to PFF, mathieu rates higher than Williams, and maye rates higher than CGJ

Man he looks like a guy who is dealing with serious non-football stuff. This would explain that. I also agree with another poster that says he looks smaller. He may just be screwed up inside right now. Hope he gets it behind him.
