If I remember these cases here and in Cali weren't rock solid by any means. The DA may just be getting what they can here so he can be shipped off and delt with in the other states. A not guilty at trial could hurt the other cases of they are stronger.

That has to mean only the Nevada part. I know it says concurrent but there is no way this guy can get out in three years.
ETA: I'm guessing it only is the Nevada part since they re talking specifically about what those two charges carry.

Sounds like he is pleading to one count in NV. Sharper is a scum bag but a lot of these cases have been pretty weak evidence wise.

That has to be only part of his sentence, right? He was facing life in Louisiana and 30 years in California. I can't see how he only gets 9 years total.

The 9 years is only one plea deal. He still has charges in 3 other states pending.

Right, but reports are that sentences will run concurrently. Chick Foret is saying that he's being told Sharper is providing substantial info to police about something else, so he's getting a light sentence for cooperating.

If anyone listened this morning, Cowherd nailed the whole issue. He says people who play in the NFL actually live longer than the average. He says they're mostly in all fantastic shape who obvious exercise and eat well on a semi regular basis. Of course it has its downfalls when it comes to injury, but I mean how many careers/hobbies/interests are really 100% good or healthy for you?
