Don't take this personal, but, you're stinking up the joint.
Did you practice at all with the team. I mean your new team. You know, the New Orleans Saints. The team that gave you a big arse contract to be the man at Tight End for the 2019 season. You're playing like you left your heart in Oakland. Seriously dude, you have all the ability in the world, but you're playing like this is the first time you've seen a football. Time to put the distractions away and focus on being a Saint. Your team needs you and you've been MIA so far this season.
Now against the cowboys you've had great games. We need for you to find that guy inside of you and bring him to the game next Sunday night. Catch, Secure the ball and run after catch... to the end zone.

It just seems like he doesn’t fully know the offense. I think with time he will improve on that. I do wish he knew it already but the saints offense isn’t exactly simple.

How do you explain the dropped passes? He didn't know he was supposed to catch the ball?

I was expecting him to revitalize the Jimmy Graham seam route ... but he sucks so far ... looking more and more like a Fleener type signing.

You can see why he's been so up and down in his career.
The guy doesn't even get his head around a significant amount of time. This is an era where EVERY QB has learned to throw the ball on the back shoulder when the defender has his back to turned.
The play where Brees was hurt could have been a huge play but Cook made the throw look bad because he hadn't even turned his head.
Cook is physically talented, but he is basically a rookie from a mental standpoint.
He's clueless. And, you can tell the way he plays, he knows he's clueless. His body language shows that he knows he's failing.

Jared Cook and Murray both look like Tarzan and play like Jane! Why do you think both are on their 3rd teams in the last 4 years. If these guys were so good their prior teams would not have looked to replace them.
