Hendrickson and Granderson need more snaps...Davenport is invisible

Davenport continues to be less than impressive...A total bust of a first round pick but we actually used 2 #1's to draft this project. Hendrickson and Granderson both show more when given the chance. It's time to send Davenport a message and bench his arse.

Dude just go away, you can’t keep losing this argument.

You should be invisible.

It's not even close to being a argument...Davenport has been invisible most games this year. The fact is.. he would be a disappointment as a 3rd round pick never mind we used 2 1sr rounders on him.

I don't know about invisible but Volks has some reason.
"After an encouraging first five games of the season that saw him amass 15 tackles, three sacks, and a forced fumble, things have gone south for Davenport. In the last four games he has managed just seven total tackles and does not have a big play. Even more discouraging is that he has just one QB hit in that time and his snap count is dwindling. Last week, he played a season low 51% of the snaps. The matchup this week is a positive one as the Buccaneers' offense has allowed 24 sacks to opposing DL on the season. It's just too risky to trust a player that is trending badly in the wrong direction at this crucial point in the season".

Some people are stat watchers and don't understand that everything isn't measured by stats.

Checking the box score from today’s game, Davenport had ZERO tackles. I don’t recall his name being called out once by the announcers for making a play.

Is is humanly possible for you to start a thread not bashing Davenport?

I was kinda thinking the same thing last week and this week. Atl and Tb offensive lines have been bad and I can’t remember him making any plays. Same goes for Rankins, has been invisible most of the year. Not sure if he is all the way back from that injury yet.

What I have noticed the last two games is we are rotating our defensive ends a lot more than we used to. I have seen multiple snaps where Jordan isn't on the field, which is not typical.
I don't find Davenport is invisible, but he definitely isn't making the same flash plays as he did a few weeks ago.

quote:Dude literally took us on his back last year and personally had us to within one play from the Superbowl as a rookie. Now, 10 games into year 2 we have regressed to only 8-2 with a 3 game lead in the division. Clearly and unequivocally he is in a sophomore slump!!
Davenport continues to be less than impressive.
