Do you mean Matt Patricia?
Good luck with that, word is Belichick is grooming him.

I like Patricia a lot. If we were to get rid of Sean he would be my first pick.

Down vote because your post is misleading inaccurate and forgets that the FO is Payton with Loomis writing the checks.

Patricia would be awesome, but not very realistic.
I like the idea of Todd Haley, Pittsburgh's OC and HC of KC when they won the AFC West. A firey guy who can motivate our team to find a winner within themselves. Seems like the Saints are losing because they have been expected to lose. A guy like Haley could really turn the attitude around.

Your dream is to take a corner over a pass rusher in the 1st?
Either or. Both need work. Both help one another.

CSP is one of two 5 OC's not head coaches.

Downvote if you dont like Payton and want a change.
What is the option for still CSP, but think that it is time for a change?

Also, thoughts?
I am really really really worried about Tom Benson having a senior moment and hiring Rex Ryan.

Not happy with a possibility of finding 3 corners out of this group?
Breaux
PJ Williams
Moore
Swann
Harris
Crowley
With Vaccaro and Bell also available for nickel?
I'd love White, but having a pass rush is a far bigger need.

Notre Dame fan would know.

I'm getting frustrated with Payton as much as the next guy. But I'm not gonna entertain the thought of letting him walk before I see what he does with all the cap space we have next year. If he screws that up, then we have a problem.

Drew Brees made Sean Payton
No, not really. Sean Payton was a great coach. he lost his mojo when he won the Super Bowl. This is a very common situation, and it's addressed by the quote, "Nothing fails like success."
Guys who reach the pinnacle, like Payton did, often are surprised by how little happiness it brings them. Sure, there is temporary euphoria, but then it goes and is replaced by a desperate feeling caused by the realization that all they have dreamed of has come true yet they are still unfulfilled.
Payton was probably done the day after he won the Super Bowl. I read the morning paper and discovered that he had slept with the Lombardi trophy. I asked myself, "Is that how Belicheck, Saban, Landry, Bear or Chuck Knoll would have reacted?"

It was the suspension more than the Super Bowl that changed Payton. Team was still rolling in 2011. He hasn't been the same since he came back.

Needs his powers curtailed and a real GM hired to make personnel decisions.

I'm sorry but Payton no matter how brilliant of an offensive mind he had, the leagues DC's have caught up to him. Additionally he has jointly made bad draft decisions as well as free agent acquisitions. In the end when a team consistently loses someone has to take the fall and Payton is that someone. That is as unbiased as I can be. Personally I cant stand the little shite and would just as soon he never have been our head coach. Even if he did when a Super Bowl. Just don't like him.

Sean Payton is still arguably one of the top 5, maybe top 10 NFL coaches
Wtf has he done since Gregg Williams? Payton us the most overrated coach in all of football. I get the sentiment from Saints fans based on the fact that they were pure shite for their entire 43 years or whatever until the (tainted) super bowl year. I understand. But guys, let go. He's not a very good head coach. When Drew was in his prime and the defense was violent, he looked good. Those days are gone.

I did not read through this thread so I apologize if this has been said. I like Payton alot, especially knowing what we have had in the past. That said we have been on the decline just like LSU but he is getting a pass from most.
I don't want him fired. I do want some of the other coaches fired.
