The reason is easy....

We have a better QB.

Who's facing an awful secondary and a defense that has to blitz to get pressure. It could get ugly for Philly if we execute the gameplan perfectly.

Why will the Saints win?

I mean, c'mon, look at this guy:

You just can't lose to a guy looking like that.

Plus Drew has the experience of big games....I think he makes much fewer mistakes today.

Kyle Orton….

Kyle fricking Orton sliced up Philly's secondary with Witten catching over 10 passes last week…

enter Drew and Graham… and Colston… and Sproles… and Moore… and…

and Foles doesn't take many chances down the field… something he may have to do, and doesn't have much experience to draw upon for this game…

Exactly. I've heard some morons on TV say they would rather have Foles in this game than Brees.

Napoleon Dynamite > Brees???
Not a fricking chance bro.

The Saints are a better overall team.

The defense is fully capable of putting pressure on Foles and containing McCoy within reason. We are hampered without Vaccaro and Greer, but Ryan can scheme and game plan with the best of them, imo.

Supposedly, the weather will only be cold and not wet or particularly windy. That helps a lot and allows more options for the offense. Robinson and Ingram will just have to step it up. Armstead needs to be ready and, perhaps, given a little help but I don't think he's a guaranteed disaster tonight.

So it'll be tough, but the Saints have a very decent shot at winning if they play solid and don't turn the ball over.

Isn't philly's home record the same as our road record?

Because Brees and Foles went to the same high school. Brees is the upperclassman by 10 years and has a state championship where Foles didn't! Respect!

Get dat road-playoff monkey off our back!

We are the better team with the better coach. I have no doubt that chip Kelly pulls some stupid shite that blows momentum or the game for them.

Perhaps the Saints will call ONE PLAY in the huddle and not 3. The crowd noise effect must be overcome..we must keep it simple..keep it fast.

Guys..my instinct is that this is going to be a great game. This is why the Saints are the real "America's Team" and why they get so much prime time.

Time for the Who Dats to believe..we can and we will win this game!

I like the matchups we have. Their defense is awful - we're definitely going to score points. It seems to me like they're either going to try to blitz the shite out of us (most likely) and Drew will shred them with quick passes and screens, or they're going to play deep and Ingram will take care of business up front and prove his worth.

I'm 100% confident we will score the points we need to win.

The real matchup to watch is their offense vs our defense.. They definitely have one of the most potent offenses in the league. They've been very efficient since Foles took over. They lead the league in yards per play in passing AND rushing. This season our defense has given up a pretty good amount of yards, but not so many points.. we're going to need the same sort of performance today. We need to limit their opportunities in the RZ.. hold them to FGs, mostly. I know it's been a struggle lately, but we really need turnovers too. DBs gotta step up and make the plays in that department.

All-in-all, we're both definitely going to score. But I am very high on our chances tonight.

The Eagles are +12 in turnovers all season, the Saints are at 0. The team who wins the turnover battle in a game wins 84% of the time in the playoffs. This is pitting practically the ONLY thing the Eagles do right on D, against the absolute WORST thing that the Saints do wrong on the road. Somebody give me a reason NOT to believe this game could turn into an uuuuugly Seattle or Rams-esque turnover nightmare in the first or second quarter. Because I gotta be honest, I am feeling the positive vibes on some of the other matchups tonight, I like our chances, but I ain't feelin' that one. AT ALL.
