The Eagles don't have anywhere near the pass rush of St. Louis or Seattle. That and Charlie Brown is on the bench where he deserves. I also think that Philly cannot stop a Graham/Sproles 1-2 punch.

I have an "Eagles friend" on the internet who has been sorta bugging me...he's okay but his in-laws on his wife's side are some of the REAL brawling, thick neck hooligan Philly fans. He is mostly just humorously repeating what they say to him and passing it on to me, and back to them, good natured fun. And I wasn't really in the mood or feeling confident at all, so I have been engaging in a bit of creative reverse trolling with him. (and them).
So all week I've been dejected and down in the dumps, telling him the Saints have no chance, I'm really worried, Drew turns to stone in cold weather, the defense is really bad like last year, Saints fans are worried that LeSean is gonna go all Marshawn Lynch "Beastmode" on us, heck, I'm not even sure the Saints will be able score a touchdown tonight in all that cold. I have him fully under the impression that what he saw on TV in the Seattle Monday Night game, is what they will get to see tonight... I even worked in a bit of the "black pants white jerseys, we're fricked" angle, and he ate that right up.
It's going to look like absolute genius if what I think will happen happens, and I can pull this off.
BUT the more I troll this guy, the more I'm like, no, this storyline I'm feeding him can't be right, this stuff just isn't adding up....the Saints chances are actually pretty good tonight, I think.

When you look at how we contained Carolina's running game in the two games we played them, then you can see how we might slow down Philly (another team who gets yardage from the read option).
Oh, and look at how we defended San Fran's running.
Dallas, Giants, and Minny held them under 100 yards rushing this year. Those were three of their six losses.
When they faced elite QBs, their defense was exposed. San Diego and Denver were that. Their other loss? KC. Against whom they had five turnovers.
We have the elite QB, so the key is to slow down McCoy and force turnovers.
