You know Sean wants his talent evaluator and his salary cap genius with him. He’s about to bend us over backwards with no lube. Wish he’d take Loomis and Carmichael.

Ireland is already packed. But don’t worry everyone we got Loomis to make the draft picks! Can’t wait for that. It’s gonna be great. Paper or plastic?

Why would harley leave?

Also, denver already has a gm.

I could see him getting ireland but it isn't guaranteed.

Loomis needs to give ireland the gm title.

He already has it I’m pretty sure. Thought Mickey was the Director of Football Ops, basically Ireland’s boss.

If Harley leaves, doesn't NFL reward the Saints a 3rd round pic.

If they already have a gm, don’t they can poach him for a lateral move. If he went to a team with no gm, then I could see it.

No. Ireland is VP/Assistant GM - College personnel

Loomis is Exec. VP/General Manager

Y’all know the saints personnel department is 20 deep with guys, many who have been here forever. It’s funny y’all act like Ireland does this all on his own.

Harley has been here 14 years and is already the de facto GM. If he were to leave, you get a comp pick and just go find someone else that can put you in cap hell

I was worried Payton was taking Ireland. He isn’t and broncos aren’t firing their gm they just hired. Harley isn’t going anywhere either. None of you have sources. Harley has no incentive to leave. None.

They already let Nielson out of the door after Payton kept him from coming to LSU. They better do something to lock these other guys up.

Well just know that I know if he’s given the chance he’s going with Payton. I’m not giving my source away because it’s a family member with very close ties to the Ireland family.

We had 3 defensive coordinators lol. I liked neilsen but he didn’t call plays. We’ll miss his dline coaching but that’s it. Losing neilsen is no reflection of losing anyone else.

Harley is the de facto gm?

I've never heard that.

I guess he has a hand in the personnel department. I know ireland is over college prospects and someone else is over pro personnel. I guess harley has a say in it like loomis.

His title is vp of football administration.

This is his bio.

he works in conjunction with the player personnel department, making player acquisitions fit within the salary cap structure. Harley works closely with the Pro and College Personnel departments in preparation of free agency and the NFL

I didn't know coaches selected their front office hires.

So what. How many Superbowls did Payton win with them? How many drafts did we waste by trading up with Payton? And back to, how many Superbowls?
