Honestly anything is an upgrade so whatever.
I also wouldn't be mad with Jameis. We're definitely a playoff team with him right now, maybe even winning the division.

Not at what it would likely cost for him. Someone will pay him to be a starter and we sure as hell shouldn't pay that for a backup.

Barring Russell Wilson deciding he wants to play for the Saints and forcing his way here, I'm definitely good with running it back with Jameis. Get Thomas back, add a quality number 2 receiver, hopefully a OL to replace Ruiz or Peat, avoid the disastrous run of injuries we had this year and I like our chances to be pretty good.

I really don't even think it's close. I'd rather Jameis & he'll also be cheaper.
I really don't see how someone on here can dislike Jameis. He's a good QB for cheap, & he seems to have finally grown up.
That sounds like the smart buy to me. The former #1 overall pick that matured.

Yeah at this point unless you get Wilson for cheap in riding with Winston. Wilson obviously is better right now but I’m not trying to give up 3 firsts for him.

The only condition i would take him is in a fall back situation.

Winston wont be back to start the year.
I think he has like 1 year left. You have SF take some of his money to be able to facilitate a trade. Have him play out the year or whenever Winston gets healthy. Possibly trade by next deadline.

Why wouldn’t Winston be back to start the year? Burrow made it back and his injury happened later in the season. I believe Burrow’s was worse also.

If we don't get Winston, Wilson, or Rodgers than Winston will be fine.
Even Drew would have struggled this year. All five linemen injured at some point. No Thomas all season, Kamara misses almost five games, Harris suspended, and Calloway I consistent.
It is amazing the Saints are 8-8. Shows how great Payton is as a coach.
