You do seem a Saints Board expert if I ever saw one.

In this experiment, can i run over mayfield's shoulder with my f250 and then have him play a game behind the saints banged up OL with Pete Car calling plays?

Mayfield has a much better team. But it seems clear we didn’t need to spend the money on Carr. This team isn’t built to compete.

I have no way of judging them due to our offensive coordinator.

I still think Carr is the better player. Carr hasn’t been bad outside of Sunday when he was clearly hobbled by an injured shoulder. The o-line and play calling have been embarrassing.

The question isnt if hes better.. The question is he $33.5 million better than Mayfield. I mean its really a rhetorical question at this point.

Posting rhetorical questions on a message board. This is peak comedy.

Carr isn't anywhere near top tier, but anyone thinking this putrid offensive performance is because he is the QB is mistaken.
This entire offensive scheme and its implementation is an absolute clown show.
Until Carmichael is gone, I'm holding final judgment on Carr.

Still take Carr everyday. One game doesn’t change that.

How about the other 3 games? Did you watch those? How about the other 9 years hes been in the league?

Yeah. They were all better than Cleveland Brown, Panther, Ram, Buccaneer Baker Mayfield.

Carr is better. The coaching and schemes are not. Not that complciated

What's wrong with changing your opinion on something? I was a believer in Carr before the season. I thought with more weapons and a different system he would have thrived. Well, not so much. Actually, not at all. It is what it is.

Which guy to choose
Option 1:
61.8 % completions, 7.2 YPC, TD/INT ratio - 1.65, 1 sack per every 14.7 dropbacks
Option 2:
64.6 % completions, 7.1 YPC, TD/INT ratio - 2.17, 1 sack per every 19.3 dropbacks
Not much difference but I'd probably go with option 2.

Me too. Baker has a low ceiling. What you’re seeing won’t be what he’s doing mid season and beyond. He’s just played shitty teams.

But Saints Talk lil guys said all offseason that the Saints were the best team with the clear best QB in the division?

Even if it were, Carr has no record of carrying a team to high level football play - especially in big games (not like he's played in many but the ones he has played in he was arse) - so people here spent the last 6 months wishcasting.
