Considering his right arm and shoulder are gone, learning to play left handed would probably be better than him continuing to play right handed.

I agree that it’ll be tough to see drew go, but his shoulder has failed him. He got way more years out of it than he was supposed to.

If his rotator cuff blew like his wife said that means more surgery on his already reconstructed throwing shoulder that already has 16 anchors in it. They would mean months more of rehab after the surgery all for one more year. I love Drew more than anyone and will miss him but even I know that just doesn’t make sense. Maybe and just MAYBE if he thought he had 2-3 more years in him then you could put yourself through more surgery and rehab but not for one season. Father Time is undefeated and he’s calling for Drew. He got at least 10 more seasons on that shoulder after the injury than he should have. At this point even after the surgery it might not help.

He didn't skip arm day at the gym...

His shoulder has had several injuries over last few years. Not to mention his feet and now his ribs keep getting hurt as well
